Here is a gallery of the bus after it returned from
the body shop. I started slowly re-installing and replacing every part
that had been removed. (November, 2004) The bus received a new headliner,
new window seals, new bumpers, all new lights and lenses, wipers, chrome,
hardware, all body rubber, basically everything on the exterior of the bus was
either restored or renewed. What a project!
It is nearing completion, I'll let the pictures show what is done and what is
left. I tore one of the window seals when installing a rear side window, a
new one is on order. I'll post more pictures when the Van is finally
finished. (Are they ever really finished??)
Update: 12/11/04: The bus now has new white-wall tires, new upper/lower
ball joints, new front wheel bearings, new shocks, and all the rubber is finally
